A week ago, I proudly wrote about accomplishing my sushi goal. But because of that, another goal almost got forgotten… I also cooked another dish from a cookbook! I really felt like making an oven dish, so I asked this book for help.
I expected to choose a dish that would be baked in the oven in its entirety. But instead I picked a really good-looking turkey recipe, which required me to bake some potatoes and vegetables on the side. The dish I decided to try out was turkey filet covered with basil and ham.
I had baked potatoes and stir fried Brussels sprouts with onions to go with it. I know I already cooked turkey and Brussels sprouts last time, but yet this was such a different dish. Maybe I chose this one because I still had the craving for a turkey dish that actually would taste nice. You know, since the last one was a bit of a fail. But this one was a great success! I loved it! And it was so easy to make. I’m definitely going to cook it again some day.
So this means I’m at 60% of goal no. 69! I’m progressing really well in the cooking department, don’t you think?
